A founder layer in Stockholm

Where ambitious operators
meet, with Irish hospitality.

Small rooms. Real conversations. Long-term relationships.

I · The pattern

Great ecosystems aren't built by programming. They're built through repeated proximity between ambitious people.

That's the layer Fáilte exists to hold open in Stockholm.

II · What we noticed

Three observations.

  1. I

    Most networking rooms produce noise.

Too many people. Too little trust. No continuity.

  2. II

The best founders prefer smaller rooms.

Real relationships form through repeated proximity, not scale.

  3. III

Stockholm already holds exceptional Irish talent.

What's missing is intentional connection between the people who carry it.

III · Why this works

The same people, again.

  • Trust

Compounds when the same people return.

  • Proximity

    Beats scale. Every time.

  • Continuity

Long-term relationships do the work that programming can't.

Quick answers

In three lines.

Is this an event series?
It's a small, recurring room. Six gatherings a year, one ongoing relationship.
Who's it for?
Ambitious founders, operators, investors, and senior mentors. Irish-rooted, Irish-connected, or aligned with Irish values of openness, hospitality, and ambition.
How are people chosen?
Personally. By introduction or expression of interest, reviewed one at a time.

IV · Who's in the room

Founders, operators, investors.

Founders and senior operators with backgrounds across industries, from global institutions to early-stage ventures, and the long stretch in between. Repeat builders, investors, and people quietly running the next big thing.
International by default, in Stockholm by choice.

Founder · Convenor

Fáilte · Founders Hub was established in early 2026 as a room for founders, investors, and operators who hold warmth and considered progress as closely as ambition. Fáilte means 'welcome' in Irish, and that is the spirit of every gathering: a well-considered room where people meet properly, and the conversation is genuinely useful.
